Look At Last Nite - Slade - Slayed? (Vinyl, LP, Album)

  1. Even if one excises past hits "Gudbuy t' Jane" and "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" from the equation, Slayed? is a nonstop party, from the riotously self-fulfilling prophecy of "The Whole World's Goin' Crazee" to the down-key but still eminently stompalong-able "Look at Last Nite," the latter a reminder that, even at its loudest, Slade was still 8/
  2. By the time that the 'Slayed?' album arrived in September , Slade had scored their third British No.1 single with 'Mama Weer All Crazee Now', which was included on side two of the LP. 'Slayed?' has been called "music to wreck concert halls to", and it's a description that /5(24).
  3. It was played on the "Slade Alive" live album from "Look At Last Nite" is from the "Slayed?" album, strangely. They could have put another older track on as opposed to one that had appeared on their previous album. This album is a good listen, but is somewhat contrasting in its inclusion of the glam hits next to the "serious" earlier /5(89).
  4. But these are not the highlights of this fantastic album. "How d'you ride" is one of Slade's best hard rock songs, worthy of a single and "Look at last nite" boasts an awesome vocal track similar to "Coz I luv you". Noddy's voice is it 's best ever and Jim's bass seriously jives in Janis Joplin's "Move over" which rocks beyond belief/5(32).
  5. SLADE ‎- SLAYED?. Format: Vinyl LP Album. I Don' Mind. Mama Weer All Crazee Now. Gudbuy Gudbuy. Gudbuy T'Jane. I Won't Let It 'Appen Agen. Look At Last Nite.
