  2. I've never listened to a lot of JJ Cale, but the recent tribute album by Eric Clapton and friends and my fondness for his original version of "After Midnight" led me to this album. I recently heard a band in a bar perform the beautiful "Magnolia" and "Don't Go To Strangers" turned up as a theme on an episode of the show "Transparent.".
